Jane Davidson

Jane Davidson is Chair of Wales Net Zero 2035 – charged with identifying 10 year pathways to accelerate climate action in Wales in a just and nature-positive way. Her know-how and passion were forged as a Welsh Government minister, university Pro Vice-Chancellor and land restorer. As Cabinet Minister for  Environment and Sustainability in Wales she proposed legislation to put sustainability at the heart of government: the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act became law in 2015. She is the author of #futuregen:Lessons from a Small Country (2020) which was also published in Japanese in 2025. She lives on a smallholding in west Wales.
