Tim Martina Schäffer received her education at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and the University of Music Lübeck in Germany. She lives and teaches in Vienna and her hometown of Eisenstadt in Austria.

After her studies, she learned the virtuoso and expressive playing technique from Maestro Pepe Romero. She passes on her knowledge of the power and ease of this method to her private students as well as through seminars and workshops (Musikforum Viktring, Forum Gitarre Wien, International Guitar Festival Rust).
