With over two decades of experience as a clinical social worker, Michelle has led transformative programs to make the wellness industry more inclusive, while addressing individual and collective trauma. She’s facilitated workshops for organizations like Google, Spotify, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and her books—Skill in Action, Finding Refuge, We Heal Together, and more—explore the intersection of personal healing and social justice.
As a teacher and healer, Michelle creates space for deep transformation through yoga, intuitive healing, and anti-oppression work. She is passionate about aligning mind, body, spirit, and heart, guiding others toward wholeness and collective healing. Michelle lives in North Carolina with her husband, dog Jasper, and honeybees, and continues to inspire change with compassion and courage.
