Madelaine VanDerHeyden is a development communications specialist who believes everyone’s story has the power to change the world. She is currently Senior Manager of Marketing and Storytelling at The Wellbeing Project. In amplifying voices from communities around the world – from grassroots movements to corporate boardrooms to the halls of the United Nations Climate Change Conference – she crafts powerful stories that educate, inspire, and empower positive impact. In academia, her research has focused on conscious communication, ethical storytelling, multistakeholder collaboration, and sustainable development. She holds degrees from the University of Washington and the American University of Paris. She has lived in the United States and India and is currently based in Paris, France.
