Anne Hints is an Estonian film director with a background in contemporary art and experimental folk music. She won best director in the World Cinema category at the 2023 Sundance Festival for her feature documentary, Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, about Estonian women of different generations coming together in an age-old ritual to shed trauma through communion.
